With last week’s Leveson inquiry featuring James and Rupert Murdoch, here, here and here, the stage has been set for another riveting piece of media television as Andy Coulson and Rebekah Brooks take to the stand next week.

The appearance of the former News of the World editor and N0 10′s head of communications, Coulson,  could make very uncomfortable viewing for David Cameron.

The same could well be true of former Sun editor and News International chief executive, Brooks, whose friendship with the Prime Minister saw him embroiled in the #horsegate saga in March.

Cameron has already suffered an uncomfortable time after James Murdoch created waves for the Culture secretary Jeremy Hunt. It led to Cameron having to answer questions in the House of Commons

Muroch junior revealed close links between the minister and News Corporation during its bid for BSkyB.

The revelations forced Hunt’s adviser, Adam Smith, to resign and questions remain about the minister’s handling of News Corp’s failed attempt to take control of BSkyB.
